These are great but let me ask for clarification: these are photographs of ordinary, found things and places, or of art (consciously made by you or someone else as art)? If the former, I do some of that, inspired by Ralph Eugene Meatyard and others. Regardless of your answer I like the images above - but if the former, I add praise to you for your ability to find / notice such beauty made by happenstance out in the random world.
ReplyDeleteRico, the original subjects are scratches, scrapes, dents and otherwise decaying materials. These are all my eye, my sensibility and composition. Thank you so much for your kind words :) I love doing it and I really enjoy sharing it!
DeletePS: I also really like the Marilyn Monroe quote (for my own inspiration and because it shows her to be more than the caractures of her).
